Traffic Management Audits
A traffic management audit is an evaluation of a site for its effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. It includes a review of traffic flow, road network design, road signs, traffic signals, pedestrian facilities, and other elements that affect the movement of vehicles and people. The purpose of a traffic management audit is to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes to help reduce congestion, improve safety, and enhance overall traffic flow.
We take compliance very seriously, with our traffic management audits. These days, businesses are subject to a number of requirements, and you cannot afford to ignore them given the dangers and consequences of non-compliance.
We are frequently startled by the number of worksites that would perform poorly in an audit as we travel throughout New Zealand. Keep in mind that NZTA and the regional RCA are always free to examine any of your TTM operations.
Avoid being caught off guard and avoid non-conformances or a possible shutdown that would result in revenue loss (not to mention additional costs or the risk of losing your business and livelihood).
At Evolution Traffic, we offer two different kinds of audits:
Observational Audit: An evaluation of the design and operation of the worksite through observation. useful for getting a broad perspective on how your practical TTM processes actually work. (Note that this excludes TMP reviews and the particular specifications of a complete SCR Audit.)
Full Site Condition Rating Audit: This audit (performed using NZTA standard practice and forms) covers all aspects of a specific worksite operating under Temporary Traffic Management and its relevant TMP. All organizations should have a variety of compliance programs in place supported by the relevant audit regime.
Make sure your business processes are efficient and secure. Complete our form to book an audit we would love to hear from you.
